Serving the community on the city council since March 2007, I am a lifelong resident of Desert Hot Springs, deeply rooted in its history and culture. Born and raised here, I proudly pursued my education in this town and am now raising my family within its welcoming embrace.
My connection to Desert Hot Springs extends to my two sons, both graduates of Desert Hot Springs High School. My eldest, now married and working in healthcare, has blessed me with the joy of being a grandfather with two beautiful daughters. Meanwhile, my youngest earned a B.A. in English from the University of California Riverside and has now finished his teaching credential and starting his master’s program.
In my years of marriage to my wife Victoria, who serves as an LVN and is working to finish her training to become a RN, our blended family thrives. Three wonderful stepdaughters, the two oldest daughters, ages 20 & 18 are actively attending college at ASU (Nursing Major) and Cal State San Bernardino (Political Science Major). Our 14-year-old is prepping herself for High School next year and has set herself a goal of becoming a veterinarian.
With nearly a decade of entrepreneurship under my belt, I am a proud member of the Desert Hot Springs Rotary Club. My commitment to community service spans 20 years with the Desert Hot Springs Volunteer Fire Company, a two-year presidency at Food Now, and over two decades of coaching and umpiring for Desert Hot Springs Little League. Presently, I serve as a portfolio community manager for Desert Resort Management, overseeing two HOA’s and one Special District, and I’m a project manager for the maintenance division.
My journey in public service began on the City Council in 2007, culminating in my election as Mayor in 2015. I am dedicated to the continued growth and prosperity of Desert Hot Springs, drawing on my extensive experience and unwavering commitment to the community's well-being.
